The 2007 Workplace SBI Survey is a biennial review of alcohol screening and brief intervention (SBI) activities and services used in the workplace. Ensuring Solutions to Alcohol Problems at The George Washington University lead the effort and presents the full report of the survey findings. The report is based on the responses of employers and behavioral health vendors across the U.S., representing a full range of industry sectors and company sizes. Findings show that more than 81% of employers surveyed are “very concerned” or “moderately concerned” about alcohol problems among employees. Data analysis also reveals information on employer and vendor assessments of alcohol SBI programs and efforts to change these programs in order to better address workplace alcohol problems.
